Normally our delivery time is 3-5 business days (excluding holidays, and weekends). Though it’s very rare but during some unavoidable circumstances delivery time might require some additional time.
We provide Minimum shipping charge to commercial addresses all over the USA. Forklift charges if required may be additional on shipping charges will be $100 unless noted otherwise.
Pre-installation Checks
It is important to perform specific inspections, change-over accessories, and routine maintenance regularly to ensure uninterrupted operation. Used Engine parts and components have been left attached to the engine for your convenience, however, an ASE qualified technician should be consulted to determine if any parts or accessories need to be exchanged. Please note that all parts, change-over accessories, and wear-and-tear items left on the engine block are not covered by our warranty policy. Our team at Used Engines Inc. is committed to providing our customers with a satisfying buying experience. We highly recommend performing pre-installation checks before installing any used engine or transmission, as it will help the engine/transmission perform efficiently with enhanced durability. As an organization with years of experience, we have developed installation guidelines to assist you during the installation process.
Our experts have created concise installation guidelines based on years of experience. Please find them below for a successful installation.
- Turbochargers- Superchargers, Turbos are not part of the long block, hence not warranted unless stated otherwise in written.
- Before signing the delivery, please check any physical damages on the used engine and used transmission. If you catch any damage, put it in notes under the delivery receipt and contact us immediately. DO NOT use merchandise before contacting us.
- We suggest inspecting all gaskets and seals and replace them if needed. An engine that blows a head gasket or is over heated will automatically void the warranty.
- Please fully turn the crankshaft over before installation. Please contact us immediately if it doesn’t turn over.
- For a timing belt engine, timing belt, tensioner and its components should be replaced prior to installation. Timing belt, chains and other components are not warrantied and should be inspected thoroughly if timing cover is easily removed.
- You should change the engine oil and replace oil filter
- Do add new Anti-Freeze/ Coolant
- Please reseal your lower oil pan

Warranty Limitation
- The warranty on the used engines offered by our organisation is limited to the engine assembly only. Blocks, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and other internal components are supposed to be the only parts in an engine assembly. Switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifold, wire harnesses, valve covers, gaskets, brackets, oil pan, flywheel, and other associated auxiliary items may still come on the engine for your convenience, but they will not be warrantied for not being part of an engine assembly.
- We provide reliable motors and transmissions up to 35 years old. Cosmetic issues not covered by warranty. Inspect parts upon receipt and call the support line at +(201) 702-8366 for any discrepancies. We advise against declining a shipment to avoid additional costs. Warranty claims covered for pick-up and repair. Please note our order cancellation policy. Exceptional service provided.
- To initiate an order with Nj auto spare parts, the following charges will be applicable- labor charges, freight charges, cost of pallet, bubble wraps, straps, etc. Please note that in the event of order cancellation occurring post 24 hours of payment confirmation, a 20% restocking fee will be levied to reimburse the associated costs borne by the company. Moreover, if the purchased merchandise has already been shipped, a two-way shipping charge will also apply. We hope that this information clarifies our procedures and encourages smooth collaboration. - Nj Auto Spare Parts is committed to quality customer service and covering shipping costs for approved warranty returns. Customers who directly request a refund will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Thank you for your trust in our products and customer support is available for inquiries.
- OEM auto parts can be swapped out between different makes and models. We employ a VIN compatibility tool at Nj auto spare parts. to ensure that the used engines and transmissions for sale are compatible with your car. It may sometime be necessary to make a few adjustments to make it fit in. The Return and Refunds policies will still cover an incompatible engine sent to customers.
- At times, supplementary information may be necessary to substantiate the specific details of the engine/transmission variant, despite verifying compatibility using the VIN with every order. In the event that a customer provides inaccurate information or orders an incorrect engine, they will bear the responsibility of the two-way shipping costs and any variation in cost between the replacement order and the original order. Refusal of a replacement request will be constituted as an order cancellation, and will therefore incur a restocking fee according to our policies.
- In the event of facing an issue with the purchased used engine, we will immediately initiate a replacement process, on approval. For some reason, if the replacement could not meet the expectations of deal, then we will initiate FULL REFUND back into source account. A customer has 30 days from the date of delivery to inform us with any issues with replaced used engine/transmission. We would not be able to initiate a claim for any issue post 30 days of receiving the replacement.
- If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please don't hesitate to contact us for a quick response during the warranty period. Keeping a problematic item for more than 30 days may eliminate any prospect of it being revived while also limiting our ability to approve the claim.
- "The warranty for NJ Auto Spare Parts is non-transferrable. Please note that the warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another individual or party. We recommend that you keep your warranty records safe and easily accessible for future reference. - Unless specifically stated in writing, we only offer a parts-only warranty; labour charges are not covered by that.
Warranty will be Canceled if
- Preinstallation checks are not followed
- Diagnostic report for the issue is not provided by an ASE certified mechanic.
- Purchased used engine isn’t installed within 30 days of date of purchase.
- Used engines/Merchandise “Repair or Replacement” required because of any accident or misuse.
- Used engine/Merchandise is damaged because of overheating or lack of lubrication.
- Used engine/ Merchandise is returned with missing/melted heat tabs.
